Situated on the coastal side of Tuscany, the Villa Ombrone is located on top of a hill, with a panoramic view of the Tuscan countryside, from the Grosseto Marina to the Amiata ski slopes. It is in the middle of an enclosed 4-hectare Domain, which includes an olive tree field and a small forest.
The Villa was renovated in a resolutely contemporary style, meant to draw attention to the beauty of the nature surrounding it. It is furnished with modern, vintage and unique furniture, to create comfortable and elegant spaces. Its conception was centred around the swimming pool, the various outdoor spaces and terraces, which offer shade or sun at different times of the day, so the guests can enjoy the magnificent view year-round, at any time of the day.
Powered by solar energy, fitted with heat pumps and perfectly insulated, the Villa produces more energy than it consumes, even with a sauna, heated pool, and electric car charging stations.
Philippe & Muriel, the owner, are living in the Olive-Oil farm nearby and will be happy introduce you to their favourite places: beaches, restaurant, medieval villages and shops (7km away). They speak english, french, italian, portuguese and some german.
You will find an evening meal prepared in your kitchen on the evening of your arrival as well as a breakfast ready for the first morning.
Booking
For each reservation an email is sent by the administration of the Tenuta Villa Ambretta indicating the occupation period, the price and the payment modalities (bank transfer or credit card)
Prices vary depending on the period of the year which is indicated on the website.
The reservation is confirmed by e-mail after receiving a deposit corresponding to 50 % of the rent.
The remaining 50% should be paid 45 days before the entry date. Failing to pay this installment will lead to the reservation not being guaranteed.
For reservations made within 45 days before the entry date, 100% of the payment is required immediately.
The price indicated on the website is all included: no final cleaning fee, no electricity or heating fee, no taxes…
Extra costs for additional services (cooking services, baby-sitting…) are paid during the stay.

Rates explanation
Book the Villa Ombrone
- During peak and middle season: rentals are weekly, from Saturday to Saturday. A 10% discount is applied from two consecutive weeks of booking.
- During low season: rentals are for a minimum of 3 nights. A 10% discount is applied from 10 consecutive days of booking.
Included services
- 1 welcome meal left in the kitchen on the day of arrival, with a bottle of red wine, a bottle of white wine and a bottle of Prosecco.
- 1 breakfast left in the kitchen for the first morning.
- Dish soap and cleaning products, laundry detergent…
- Baby bed for children under 2 years (upon request).
- Beach towels and sun umbrellas.
- 1 set of bath towels and bed linen per week.
- Bedsheets and towels will be changed in the middle of each week.

Cancellation policy:
- Cancellation occurring 90 days before the entry date: refund of the deposit
- Cancellation occurring between 90 days and 45 days before the entry date: refund of 50% of the deposit.
- Cancellation occurring within 45 days before the entry date: no reimbursement of the total fee.
In case of extraordinary circumstances (proven illness, death in the family, Covid restrictions….) occurring within the 45 days before the arrival date the fee paid in advanced is not reimbursed but serves as a voucher for another stay within the next 2 years.
Specific Conditions
Damages to the Tenuta Villa Ambretta properties occurring during the stay will be charged at client’s expenses.
The number of guests for Villa Ombrone cannot exceed 6 persons.
Only the hosts that have booked the Villa are accepted. Transfer of reservation are not accepted without the formal agreement of the Tenuta Villa Ambretta administration.
Reserving and paying for a stay at the Tenuta Villa Ambretta implies that all guests, including children, have to abide by the security rules that are indicated in each villa: no access to the agricultural warehouse, rules related to the swimming pools, rules regarding fire safety…
