Helios Relais B&B stands surrounded by a maquis landscape, in a panoramic position close to the sea.
The nearby Nisportino beach is free-access, with umbrellas and loungers available for hire. It consists of sandy shingle and is from 350 to 500 metres from our establishment, meaning it is just a pleasant walk or very short trip by car, motorbike or bicycle away. There is also a free municipal car-park above the beach.
The rooms offered by our small holiday establishment come complete with parking spaces in garages or outdoor car parks, a charming outdoor pool with sunbathing area and a heated indoor pool, a spa area with sauna, Jacuzzi and Turkish bath, and a tennis and bowls court, as well as a small gym. Use of these services offers an alternative to a "beach only" holiday, although the island's mild climate is pleasant even in the months from autumn to spring.
It is delightful to visit the romantic towns of Rio nell'Elba and Rio Marina, just 10 min. and 15 min. from Nisportino by car respectively, to use the supermarket, newsagent, tobacconist, pharmacy, bank and post office. The short drive offers exclusive views.
It is thrilling to join Iryna and Giuseppe for excursions in the canoes provided for these occasions and explore the little inlets as far as the magnificent cliffs at "Punta delle Casette" and the "Mangani" Beach, accessible only by sea, snorkelling to view the amazing pinna nobilis and other underwater marvels ...
For walkers, Tuscan Archipelago National Park way-marked trails pass nearby, leading to the Santa Caterina Sanctuary, Rio nell'Elba, the Volterraio Castle, Mount Capannello, the Panche viewpoint, Mount Strega, the Giove Tower and the unusual "Conche Red Pool". You will be charmed by stunning views of all the islands in the Tuscan Archipelago.
