The Fox House is an innovative vision to give life to a space with history. Inspired by the night visit of the Fox, who represents the balance between Nature, Comfort, Tranquility and Positive Energy, we have set up this exclusive tourist concept for you.
The use of the house and the propriety in exclusivity, the luxurious landscapes, the sound of silence, the life of fresh water springs, the cheerful flight of birds, the tasty fresh breakfast, the adventure of a woods walk, and the comfort of the house, make The Fox House a unique experience.
The Fox House is your house in the countryside.
The Villa has 6 independent rooms distributed over the main house (4 rooms) and second house (2 rooms). The houses are next to each other.
The guests have exclusive access to all the propriety and commodities, on which stand bedrooms with private bathroom, a living room and dining area, full kitchen totally equipped, barbecue totally equipped, outside dinning area, utility room and dish-?washing machine.
For entertainment you can enjoy the outside pool with waterfall, mini-?golf with 18 holes, mountain bikes, relaxing walking in the woods and gardens or just watching the stars and the moonlight.
There are several activities just 5 minutes away from The Fox House. Relax in the Spa and Wellness center in the millenary Volcanic Thermal Baths of São Pedro do Sul, have fun in cultural activities with traditional festival events, experiment the traditional gastronomy with local gastronomic products and wines from the mountainous regions of Dão, or just walk or ride the mountain tracks to discovery the fantastic landscapes.
For activities with adrenaline you can choose between mountain bike, canoeing on the river Vouga and rafting on the river Paiva.
As cultural activities we recommend a visit to the historic villages and monuments and you can always take a souvenir from the local handicraftsman.
The Fox House is a central spot.
You can do daytrips to know more about the history, culture, gastronomy & wines of Portugal.
In The Fox House you are about 45min of Viseu, an historic city, 45min of Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal with the typical boats, and the beach’s of Barra and Costa Nova with a fantastic lighthouse and the color stripe houses, 1h of Coimbra with is historical university, 1h15 of Porto, an unique vibrant cosmopolitan city with the Douro river and the famous Port Wine, and a international airport.

Center of the Thermal Villa of Termas São Pedro do Sul, pass the bridge and you see the Hotel Vouga at your right. When you see traffic indication sign with – Baiões; Serrazes; S.ta Cruz da Trapa, turns left and go up to the street “Rua Filipe Jorge Mendes Brazão”. Go along in the street and turn left when you see a traffic indication sign with - Serrazes; S.ta Cruz da Trapa. Go along in the street and turn left when you see a traffic indication sign with – Ferreiros. Go down to the street “Rua Portões de Beirós”.
