Atelier88 is a beautifully authentic Casa Rural offering tourist accommodation in the city of Alcala la Real. Situated on the N432 between Granada and Cordoba only 40 minutes drive from Granada Airport and 1 hour 40 minutes from Malaga Airport. Located

Atelier88 is located in the heart of the centro historico, just a stone's throw from the stunning Fortaleza de la Mota, this city's jewel in the crown. Our whole ethos is based on a love of tradition, of craftmanship, the bold use of colour and an eclectic approach to interior design whilst at the same time retaining an authentic look & feel and providing those all-important modern amenities.

Atelier88 has four guest spaces: 

Room 1: Rothko, a traditional ensuite room on the first floor. It has double doors looking onto the street overlooking Calle Real and the Fortaleza de la Mota. This room has an Emperor size bed (200 x 200) and so is perfect for those who require or simply enjoy that additional space. 

Room 2: Miro, a light, bright, split level ensuite room on the first floor. It is situated at the back of the house and as such enjoys views across the countryside and pool area. This room has a standard double bed. It should be noted that there are four steps linking the sleeping area and the bathroom which may not be desirable for some people.
Room 3: Dali Atico, a very large self contained room occupying the whole of the second floor. This room has a fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, single ring hob and dining area and ensuite facilities comprising bath and shower. Once again this room has an Emperor size bed (200 x 200), seating area and space for a their persons (sleeps on the daybed). It should be noted that this is an attic room with sloping ceilings, not desirable for everyone.
Room 4: Frida Khalo, a light, bright double room situated at the back with views of the countryside and pool area. Please note that this room has a large separate bathroom across the landing (robes are provided for your convenience)
Breakfast is usually included at Atelier88 however, for large bookings a room only basis can be negotiated. There is  a self service breakfast area on the ground floor complete with large fridge, microwave, toaster and a bean to cup coffee machine. You can take your breakfast indoors our outside on the beautiful terrace (weather permitting), the choice is yours. Atelier88 is an all year destination, mains gas central heating means that the house is warm and cosy on those chilly Jaen winter mornings..

This house is of traditional style and design which means there are steps and staircases throughout the property (inside and out). which means access could be a challenge for some people. There is a large sun terrace with lounge furniture and space with access to a beautiful eco climatic saltwater pool (11metres x 4.5 metres approx). Please note this is not fenced off and is accessed by a pool ladder. 
Only children over 5 years are permitted to stay at Atelier 88. The rooms are not sound proofed therefore we do not have televisions in the rooms however we do have great wifi throughout the property.
