Bed and breakfast ‘De Zuiderstolp’ is a renovated farmhouse, which has partly been transformed into a lovely guest house. The B&B is located in Zuidermeer, a village in the beautiful region of West Friesland. 

From the B&B you can cycle or walk through the beautiful Dutch landscape with dikes and extensive polders. The area is ideal for anyone who loves tranquility, space and nature. But in the area you can also easily enjoy the liveliness of the surrounding cities. Alkmaar, Haarlem, Enkhuizen, Medemblik, Zaanse Schans and Edam-Volendam are all just a short distance away and offer great day trips for young and old. We are happy to tell you more about the region and all the hidden gems.

Common room 

During your stay at the bed and breakfast you can use the common room. This cozy space is intended for meeting other guests, reading a book and playing games (there is a shuffleboard and a cabinet for games). Breakfast is also served here.  

Facilities for children 

Children are more than welcome. We have a trampoline and climbing frame in the garden. We also have a cot and high chair available. Would you like to use this? Please let us know when you book your room.

The B&B has ample private parking. There is a charging point for electric cars. 

Pets not allowed 

Although we love animals, pets are not allowed due to our chickens and rabbits.
