Description
The country cottage “Pátio do Xisto” is, as its name suggests, a stone building, partly excavated in the rock itself, which hasn't stopped its restoration and transformation into a cosy and comfortable space.
The house has access through a patio separated only from its interior by a window facing east, granting the space privileged luminosity and view.On the ground level, there's an office/reception room, a bathroom and a room with a kitchen, equipped with Cable TV.On the upper floor you'll find the bedrooms. For greater comfort, the house is equipped with central heating.
Guests at the farm stay can enjoy a continental breakfast.
Pátio do Xisto offers a terrace. Guests at the accommodation can enjoy hiking nearby, or make the most of the garden. Restaurant This small restaurant has a capacity for only 30 people, it is recommended to make a prior reservation through the contacts presented on the reservations page. To a good meal you can add the pleasure of benefiting from a unique view that only the mountain can grant, offering you hues befitting a painting that only a poet's inspiration can describe.

Set in Gondramaz, Portugal.
On a hill in “Serra da Lousã” facing east, at around 600-650m of altitude, in the council of Miranda do Corvo, 9km away from Miranda you can find “Aldeia Serrana de Gondramaz”. You'll find “Pátio do Xisto” going down through the main street until the end of the village, where the schist ground turns into the path that leads to “Penedo dos Corvos”.
How to get there
If you're coming from the South or North of the country, leave the A1 highway towards Condeixa, direction Penela, Miranda do Corvo; arriving in the centre of Miranda you'll find signs directing you to Gondramaz.
