The Three Arches B and B is a large modern bungalow situated on a quiet and tranquil rural setting on the western seaboard. It is 3km from Louisburgh and a stone’s throw away from Croagh Patrick, Westport, Clare Island and Achill Island. The drive from Westport to Louisburgh is enjoyable and relaxing. You can view the rocky coastline , stop at the ancient and monastic village of Murrisk and look or climb the historic pilgrims mountain of Croagh Patrick that rises 2,510 feet above the blue waters of Clew Bay . In louisburgh we have blue flaged beaches , we have the Granuaile vistor center where we learn all about Grace O Malley the Irish Sea Pirate. The Three Arches offers a very warm welcome to all their guests’ . Tea or Coffee and home baking in a beautiful sitting room with a turf fire. We have lovely scenic walks with a view of the Islands across the bay. We are just 5 minutes from the boat to Clare Island, the home of Grainne Uaile.
