Would you like to visit the world famous Säynätsalo Town Hall designed by Alvar Aalto and stay for a night inside the building!
This apartment accomodates 2-4 people. I live in the neighbourhood but you will have your own privacy - the whole apartment. I have attached a floor plan in the pictures section. Apartment is in a separate section from Town Hall itself. Town Hall and library are open according to their schedules. I'll be happy to help you with your plans for the visit to Säynätsalo!
Guest access
Town Hall is one of Alvar Aalto's most important works. Albeit it is not anymore used as a town hall we are able to offer you a great opportunity to overnight and explore the building. A guided tour is included in your room price.
Please note that we don't have 24/7 check-in. It is important for us to know your arrival time that we can arrange your check-in as smooth as possible. Normal check-in time is 3 pm-5 pm. We would appreciate it if you arrived within this time slot. You have to contact us beforehand if you need to arrive later.
If you arrive by car, you can park in front of the library or in the parking area behind the building.
If you are planning to arrive by public transport, buses #16 and #21 from the center of Jyväskylä drive you to the Town Hall in about 40 minutes.
Apartment Hugo
The amenities include bedlinen and towels, complimentary toiletries, coffee and tea. The kitchen has basic kitchenware, a kettle and a cooker with an oven.
