Visit the organic farm at Bitterna Aakatorp in the center of West Sweden.

The farm is based on sheep farming and the farm shop sells mutton, lamb skins and home maid dishes as well as sausages and delicatessen. The area is really the “Cradle of Sweden” and today also the center of Swedish horse trotting. In about an hour You reach Gothenburg, the waterfalls and locks in Trollhättan, the Zoo in Borås, the ski center in Ulricehamn, the museum and Sommarland in Skara or beautiful flower meadows, churches and views of Kinnekulle.

B&B in 3 rooms all at ground level easily accessible. Summertime breakfast is served in the winter garden otherwise in the farmers kitchen. Lunch and Supper can normally be ordered extra. Free parking in the yard.

• No smoking inside and only at ash trays outdoors. Compliance with Swedish laws and traditions.
• We do not charge for children under 3 years.
• SEK 100 per day for use of saunas and bubble bath
• SEK 100 per stay for pets
• Long stayers do not pay for 4 th and 7 th night

The Guest room in the newbuilt wing of the mansion.
In suite with our living room and a bathroom with sauna and steam sauna.
During the night the wing is locked for exclusive use by night guests.

The room is facing the winter garden with the IR-sauna and bubble bath.
These might be used of all guests.

Sadelkammarn (the saddle chamber) is used as farm shop when not occupied.
This is our budget room with 4 beds (one 80*214 the other 90*200).

1. Shopping in farm shop could normally be done at any time. Check first that we can attend to You.

2. Stop by for a coffee break. Served with sandwich and storytelling. 2 up to 2*20 guests. We need a 2 days’      notice.

3. Daytime activities SEK 1250/two persons. The price includes 2 coffee breaks, lunch, instructions, material and produced products (up to a value of SEK 300).

A. Cooking, smoking, drying lamb meat in theory.
B. Cutting up lamb to food details (we need 3 weeks’ notice)
C. Sheep breading
D. Making sausage. (Fresh ones like merguez. One-week notice needed. )12
           If You want “hot dogs” you need to stay over night.
           if you want attend cold smoking you need to stay at least 2 nights.

4. Activities combined with stay on the farm SEK 2990/2 persons
The price includes B&B, supper, coffee breaks, lunch, instructions/maps and the produced products. We recommend that the activity start with supper so that we can adapt to prior knowledge/ability).

a) Working with wool combing, spinning, twinning yarn, felting.
One-week notice. One day will give some 10 yards of yarn and a seat for a stool. If You want more complex products like hats, felt with motives and so on You will need more than one day.

b) Biking or hiking in the “Cradle of Sweden”. History, stories, rented bikes, picnic basket and maps. Could be one or more days

c) The birth of Sweden if You dispose a car we could tell more about the early history of Sweden and advice of more distant and interesting places to visit.

d) Cook your on 3-course supper We do not have license to serve wine but could give recommendations and shop a proper wine for You.

e) “Bara Vara” ( a word game in Swedish) Just relax!
Sauna, bubble pool and our retro bikes and the of two us are your full disposal for your wellbeing. Walk about on the roads in the woods: Pick berries, mushrooms take the bikes to the lake. Whatever you like.

5. Learn about our major holiday traditions.
Live with us during X-mas, Easter, 1 st of May, Midsummer, Harvest.
For 3 days we will share the typical cooking, meals and rituals with you
