Barranco da Fonte - is a family-run project with a magnificent architecture, in which we combine rustic and contemporary to welcome you, and thus, enjoy a well-deserved rest, in an invigorating stay in peace and tranquility.

The Rural Tourism  offers 5 magnificent houses that are fully equipped, with heating, self-catering kitchen, where we offer all the utensils and other equipment: fridge, microwave, ceramic hob, coffee machine, toaster. Although the exterior areas are common, the houses are completely independent with private terraces, which guarantees absolute privacy. The exterior features a bar with a hotspot, a garden, a biological vegetable garden, a lake and a dining and social area.

The houses of the Barranco da Fonte are located in the Alfambras, a small village typically Algarvian, equestrian in size but great in charm, with few inhabitants but with immense places harmonious, calm and silent:

We want to provide those who are looking for us with a very close contact with nature, and this can be your opportunity to get to know the Rota Vicentina, the Natural Park and the possibility to visit some of the most wonderful places of interest in the region. the Sea Museum in Carrapateira, the tip of Sagres (lighthouse and Fort), the Castle of Aljezur and the beaches of nearby Carrapateira that are sought after by Surf and not only.

The programs and activities of Barranco da Fonte are very diversified. If you prefer to rest, you can choose to stay in the small complex, enjoying the garden or even walk to the lake.

If you like long walks, cycling or jeep, to venture up by different trails vislumbramento the natural heritage or existing historic nearby observation of fauna and flora, haystacks ruins, mills and old fishermen's houses.

For the young and daring adults will be provided boat trips to the caves, Kayak tours, jeep, can fish on the boats, see dolphins, go to the zoo and practice extreme sports such as Surfing, kitsurf, Bodybord, paddle and blowcart.
