Description
The coastal town of Kleinmond in the Overberg region is situated central to most tourist attractions of the Western Cape, with Cape Town to the west, Cape Agulhas (most southern tip of Africa) to the east, and Winelands to the north. Kleinmond Panorama Apartments offer a choice of accommodation options, from bachelor to 2 bedroom apartments and a 3 bedroom penthouse. It is set 200 m from main beach, lagoon and Spar shopping centre. Free private parking is available on site.
Most units have a terrace and/or balcony with sea, lagoon, and mountain views. Each unit has a fully fitted kitchen, with microwave, fridge/freezer, 4 plate stove with oven, as well as a toaster and kettle, and either a built-in BBQ or own private BBQ area. The lounge area has a flat screen TV with DSTV (hotel package). Bed linen is provided.
The scenic Kleinmond golf course (2 km away) is well kept and affordable and very popular amongst tourists, or you can play at Arabella (8kms), rated the 6th best golf course in South Africa. Play tennis accross the road (rackets provided), or you can engage in various activities, such as horse riding, canoeing and look for the heard of wild horses said to be roaming the edge of the lagoon since World War 2, board walking along the rugged coast line, or stroll on the long stretch of white sandy beach. Visit the world renowned Herbert Porter Botanical Gardens and penquin colony (10kms), scenic hiking trails are only 2 to 5 kms away, and then, off course, there are various wineries with wine tasting facilities in the area. The nearest airport is Cape Town International Airport, 85 km from the property.
