Description
Villa Lande is a peaceful and well equipped villa at the calm lake of Salmijarvi next to the Nuuksio lake and nature park. Terrain is very versatile and beautiful on the property and outside it.
Excellent chances to swim, hike, fish, pick berries and mushrooms, spend good time in the villa; not to forget the proximity of Helsinki and its plentiful of activities for shopping and pleasure in just 40 minutes away by car.
Villa Lande has 2 floors. Bedrooms are mostly upstairs while other activities take place downstairs.
Southern terrace and a covered outdoor room towards the lake offer you great summertime pleasure together with the beach. You have a rowing boat and a private beach at your disposal. For small kids there are some toys.
The Nuuksio lake and nature park starts straight on the opposite shore of the lake. Salmi recreational outdoor park offers numerous hiking/ski trails good 1km further. The shop nearby is open daily from morning until evening.

In the proximity there are slalom hills like VihtiSki and golf courses like VihtiGolf. Equally swimming, tennis, paddling, fishing, horseback riding and rowing a boat are possible. Don't hesitate to ask for further information.

The Finnish "everyman's right" allows you to pick up wild berries and mushrooms and to hike in forests in places that are well out of sight to homes.
Snow shoes available at 10eur/pair/day.
Kick sleds (2 for adults & 1 for children) available at 10 EUR/each/day to slide on snowy road or on ice by 2 persons.

Correct location is in the middle of the lake on the North Eastern shore. Salmi outdoor recreational area next to Villa Lande is offering ready-made roads and paths for hiking/biking. Small kids can play on the playing field in Salmi. There is also a nice sledding slope for small, and bigger children in winter time.

Rates explanation
Security is 40 % of the rent to be paid at booking. For weekends the rent is the security and shall be paid when booking. Security is not reimbursed in case the lessee cancels the booking. Additional fees apply for groups exceeding 4 persons. During the high season mainly full weeks are available. In other times we are open for custom made durations. Bed linen and towels cost 15EUR/person. Cleaning costs 150 € if performed by the landlord.
