Description
Featuring pool views, Alpine Swift Trails High Altitude Training Facility in Rhodes features accommodation, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a shared lounge, a garden and a tennis court.
All units comprise a seating area, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including a microwave, a fridge, an oven and a stovetop. A patio with mountain views is offered in every unit.
The lodge offers a barbecue.
Alpine Swift Trails is our main facility and can sleep 24 people in total.
There are 4 x standard rooms which each has 2 x bunker beds in. These rooms have communal bathrooms and lounge/dining room/ kitchen.
Then there are 2 x family rooms which each has a double bed and a bunker bed, en suite bathroom, coffee station and fire place. They are a bit more expensive than the standard rooms.
These 6 rooms are all situated around the 25m natural swimming pool and tennis court.
1. Swallows Nest Chalet: beautiful private chalet with double bed, en suite, kitchen for self catering, deck and barbecue. Fenced off and private safe parking.
2. Masalimo Cottage: newly built private unit with double bed, en suite bathroom, kitchen for self catering, deck and barbecue. Property is also fenced off with private secure parking.
3. Amanzi Empilo Bungalow: this is a river stone bungalow that has a double bed, bunker bed in open plan space with kitchen, lounge. It is en suite and has a deck and barbecue. This is on the Bell river which is famous for fly fishing. It does not have electricity but appliances are powered by solar and gas. It is rustic and for people that want to be off the grid.
If you would like to discover the area, hiking, skiing and cycling are possible in the surroundings and Alpine Swift Trails High Altitude Training Facility can arrange a bicycle rental service.
Tiffindell Ski resort is 25 km from the accommodation, while NG Kerk Rhodes is 3.9 km from the property.

Set in Rhodes.
Access to us is via gravel roads (currently in very poor condition) and during rain or snow season 4x4 vehicle is best option. There is no other shops than the one we have on the premises. We have a variety of food and drinks, clothing, toiletries etc available. There is NO banks, NO pharmacy or
doctors/ clinic in Rhodes and area, closest is 64km away.
